Trace Systems Inc. (Trace) has been awarded a prime position on National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). As a successful incumbent on the SEWP V contract, Trace has been selected as a prime contractor for all three SEWP VI scope categories: Information Technology, Communications, and Audio/Visual (ITC/AV) Solutions; Enterprise-Wide ITC/AV Service Solutions; and ITC/AV Mission-Based Services.
SEWP VI is one of the federal government’s premier contract vehicles for the streamlined procurement of information technology products, services, and technology solutions, as reflected by its $60 billion ceiling. Designed to provide a compliant and efficient procurement process that reduces acquisition timelines and administrative burden, SEWP VI will support the Department of War (DoW), intelligence community, civilian agencies, and other authorized federal agencies. Through SEWP VI, the Government can rapidly procure commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) IT products, software, cloud solutions, communications systems, and related professional services to address evolving mission requirements.
The addition of the Enterprise-Wide ITC/AV Service Solutions category represents a significant evolution to SEWP. For the first time, federal agencies will be able to utilize SEWP to procure enterprise-wide services without requiring associated hardware or software purchases. This addition provides customers access to mission-critical professional and managed services with the speed and efficiency that have made SEWP one of the federal government’s most widely used acquisition vehicles.
